Abstract/Citation: This Act contains 179 sections in 7 Parts, entitled as follows : Preliminary provisions (in particular, classification of occupations into three labour categories); Pension scheme; Social welfare scheme; Members of public security forces and correctional educational services; Adjustment of pensions currently being paid; Transitional and final provisions (indicating that the following texts, inter alia, are repealed: Act of 19 Dec. 1968 (as amended), Act of 12 Nov. 1975 (LS 1975 - Czech. 3), as amended by the Act of 13 Nov. 1979, Legislative Order of 27 Jan. 1982 Act of 23 June 1982 and Legislative Order of 27 Jan. 1982). The present Act entered into force 1 Oct. 1988. A note states that other laws, such as the Act of 17 Mar. 1966 on public health and the Act of 4 June 1964 (LS 1964 - Czech. 2B), as amended by the Act of 19 Dec. 1968, remain applicable.
