Abstract/Citation: Provides for compilation and distribution of safety data sheets for chemicals that may represent health, fire, explosion (civilian and military uses) or environmental hazard (dangerous chemicals) and that are intended for professional use. Comprises 4 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-3) defines scope of regulations, and provides for responsibilities and definitions. Part 2 (s. 4-6) regulates format and content of safety data sheet. Part 3 (s. 7-9) makes provision for exemptions, control, coercive fines and penal measures. Part 4 (s. 10) contains transitional provisions.
