Abstract/Citation: Makes general provisions relating to child benefit. Comprises 8 parts Part 1 (s. 1) contains introductory provisions. Part 2 (s. 2-4) sets forth definition of "person responsible for child"; Part 3 (s. 5-8) definition of "child". Part 4 (s. 9-19) contains provisions regarding exclusion and priority. Children between 16 and 19 years of age who are receiving advanced education or training under relevant training programme may be excluded from child benefit. Part 5 (s. 20-33) regulates entitlement after death of child. Part 6 (s. 21-33) deals with residence. Part 7 (s. 34-39) contains general and supplementary provisions. Part 8 (s. 40) deals with revocations.
