Abstract/Citation: Implements Commission Directive 95/30/EC, Commission Directive 97/59/EC and Commission Directive 97/65/EC on protection of workers from risks related to exposure to biological agent at work, which amended list of biological agents contained in Council Directive 93/88/EC. Replaces list of biological agents contained in Fourth Schedule of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Biological Agents) Regulations 1994. Agents are classified according to degree of severity. Also makes provision for risk assessment and vaccination.
