Abstract/Citation: Provides for introduction of contributory health insurance system to be called National Health Fund. Divided into 4 parts. Part 1 (s. 1-2) contains preliminary provisions. Principal objective of act is to provide prescribed health benefits to all residents of Jamaica, regardless of age, gender, health or economic status. Part 2 (s. 4-8) establishes National Health Fund. Part 3 (s. 9-18) contains financial provisions; Part 4 (s. 19-27) miscellaneous provisions.
