Abstract/Citation: Amends the Sex Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 1976 to repeal certain exemptions and to provide for common age limits in unfair dismissal cases. Removes certain restrictions on working hours and conditions for women in factories, mines and quarries. Also, inter alia, provides for the issue of codes of practice on the elimination of discrimination and the promotion of equality between men and women in the field of employment.
