Abstract/Citation: Sets forth the means for carrying out the denationalisation of the steel industry. In section 3 of Schedule 1, specifies that any period of employment with the British Steel Corporation shall count as employment with the successor company or a subsidiary thereof for purposes of contracts of employment, pensions and so forth. Schedule 2 contains a lists of repeals and Schedule 3 includes transitional provisions and savings clauses.
