| Abstract/Citation: | Purpose is to ensure right to information and consultation of employees of European Community-scale commercial companies and of groups of such companies. Applies to all such companies whose controlling commercial company carries out commercial activities in Latvia. Divided into 4 parts. Part 1 contains general provisions. Part 2 provides for establishment of European Works Council, and determines procedures for informing and consulting employees. Chapter 3 sets forth special provisions regarding establishment and operation of European Works Council. Chapter 4 contains final provisions. |
