Extends Andean Trade Preference Act, grants additional trade benefits, and provides for some related matters. Divided into 5 parts. Part 1 deals with trade adjustment assistance. Provides for trade adjustment assistance for workers, firms and farmers, as well as for health insurance costs of eligible individuals. Also contains provisions regarding US Customs Service. Inter alia deals with drug enforcement operations, child cyber-smuggling center, and anti-terrorism activities. Part 2 regulates activities of bipartisan Trade Promotion Authority. Part 3 contains provisions extending Andean Trade Preference Act. Part 4 provides for extension of certain preferential trade treatment. Part 5 contains miscellaneous provisions. |
