| Abstract/Citation: | Gives effect to Caricom Agreement on Social Security signed on 1 March 1996. Agreement is divided into 5 parts. Part 1 defines scope of application and contains general provisions. Agreement applies to invalidity pension, disability pension, old age or retirement pension, survivors' pension, and death benefits in the form of pensions. Part 2 contains provisions determining law to be applied to certain insured persons. Part 3 governs invalidity, old age, retirement, survivors and disablement pensions as well as death benefit. Part 4 provides for application and implementation of agreement. Part 5 contains miscellaneous provisions. |
