Abstract/Citation: Prescribes requirements to be met by laboratory in order to utilise exemption for small-scale uses of hazardous substances in research and development or teaching that is provided for in Section 33 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act. If approved hazardous substances are used or are available for use in a laboratory, controls imposed by the Act do not apply to those substances.
