| Abstract/Citation: | Made under Merchant Shipping Act. Amends Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Regulations by substituting Regulations 3-4 and Chapter II-1. Makes provision for emergency towing arrangements on tankers and new installations containing asbestos. Also amends Chapter II-2 on construction and fire protection, as well as Regulations 2, 5-1, 13, 15 and and 18 of Chapter IV, Chapter V, Regulation 5 of Chapter VI, Regulations 5 and 6 of Chapter VII, Regulations 3 and 6 of Chapter IX, Regulations 1, 2 and 3 of Chapter X, and second schedule. |
