| Abstract/Citation: | Comprehensive legislation on national defence. Chapter I sets forth general provisions; Chapter II defines principles, objectives and functions of national defence. Chapter III regulates realization of national defence. Section 9 establishes duty of every citizen to participate in efforts to defend the country, including obligation to perform basic military training. Chapter IV provides for management of national defence system, and Chapter V for fostering of defense capabilities. Chapters VI and VII deal with supervision and financing. |
