Provides the administrative procedures and outlines responsibilities to implement the Government service occupational health and safety program established by the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Resolution No. 3, 20 September 1981. Attempts to eliminate all safety and health hazards with regard to work in government functions and projects. Establishes the responsibilities of the Civil Service Bureau with regard to promoting occupational safety and health. Sets the responsibilities of ministries in the same regard. Establishes the role and method of training for safety coordinators. Provides for inspections. Establishes management benefits for those who reduce absenteeism, reduce labour turnover, contribute to good employee-management relations and report accidents. Provides for programme evaluation. Includes forms for use in the reporting of accidents. |
