Abstract/Citation: Formulates the main principles of Kazakhstan's policy in the field of the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes and creates a regulatory framework enabling the state to control and supervise activities connected with the use of atomic energy. Also deals with nuclear and radiation safety, radioactive waste, physical protection of nuclear materials and installations.
