Abstract/Citation: Regulates the recruiting of workers. Provides that the welfare of the population of Dominica is to be considered before granting anyone the permission to recruit labour. Prohibits the employment of juveniles (those aged between sixteen and eighteen) from being recruited without parental consent. Legislates that information is to be provided to workers concerning the conditions of theiir employment. Sets the maximum period of employment at two years. Establishes that recruiters or employers are to pay for transport to the place of employment. Provides for the care and repatriation of a worker's family and for the medical examination of workers. Governs the granting of permits and license fees.
