Establishes eligibility for, rate of, duration of and other matters relating to benefits established under the Social Security Act, 1975. This includes the entitlement, rate and duration of sickness benefit, maternity benefit, invalidity benefit, old age pension, survivors benefit, employment accident benefit, and death allowance. Also establishes the conditions under which a person would be disqualified from receiveing these benefits. Regulates the manner for claiming benefits and for supporting such claims. Provides for contributions and the calculation of earnings for the purposes of disability benefits Governs medical expenses. Establishes the medical expenses for which an insured person is entitled to a refund in cases of occupational accident. Provides for the payment of these expenses during absences from Dominica. Regulates the payment of medical expenses incurred outside of Dominica. Governs the overlapping of benefits. Provides for the refunding of benefits improperly paid. The Schedule establishes precribed degrees of disablement for the purposes of employment accident benefits.
