Regulates claims for benefits and the payment of benefits. Part One provides preliminary definitions. Part Two makes general provisions. Regulates notices of accidents and particulars to be given in such notices. Establishes the obligations of claimants and beneficiaries in receipt of benefits. Part Three governs claims. Establishes that claims are to be made to the Board in writing. Governs claim forms, information to be given and time limits for making claims. Regulates the overlapping of benefits and time limits for claiming benefits. Part Four concerns payments. Governs the time and manner of payment of benefits. Provides for the suspension of benefits and benefit increases. Provides for other times and methods of the payment of benefits. Extinguishes a beneficiary's right to sums payable after the prescribed time. Establishes the information to be given when obtaining the payment of a benefit. Part Five makes miscellaneous regulations. Governs the forfeiture of benefits, the suspension of proceedings or claims and the suspension of payment. Provides for payment in cases of persons unable to act and in the case of death. Sets penalties for breaches of regulations.
