Abstract/Citation: Provides for the revision of laws of Guyana, connected matters and for various amendments to existing laws. Establishes the Law Revision Commission to carry out the periodical review and revision of laws. Establishes the composition, powers and duties of the commission. Provides for alternative modes of amending laws. Makes various amendments to inter alia, the Traders (Breach of COntract) Ordinance (cap. 24), Insolvency Ordinance (cap. 43), Old Age Pensions Ordinance (cap. 63), Public Officers (Insurance) Ordinance (cap. 71), Subsidiary Legislation Widows and Orphans Order (vol. VII p. 821), Widows and Orphans (Rates of Contribution) Order 1945, Holidays with Pay Ordinance (cap. 108), Accidental Deaths and Workmen's Injuries (Compensation) Ordinance (cap. 112), Trade Unions Ordinance (cap. 113), and the Factories Ordinance (Cap. 115). Most of the amendments concern amending monetary values given in the regulations in question.
