Abstract/Citation: Regulates the assessment of workers' ideological and political achievements, performance at work, technical and professional levels in order to meet the needs of economic development. Chapter One establishes general rule and principles of assessment. Chapter Two governs kinds of assessment. This includes varying forms of assessment for new workers, apprentices, transfer workers and senior skilled workers. Chapter Three sets guidelines on the subjects of examination. This includes ideological and political achievements, technical and vocational knowledge. Chapter Four creates guidelines on examination methods. Chapter Five sets guidelines on the organization and administration of examinations. States that the examinations are to be coordinated between the Ministry of Labour and the departments of labour in various provinces as well as local governments. Chapter Six sets punishable offences. Chapter Seven makes supplementary provisions including granting the Ministry of Labour the right to interpret the regulations.
