Second Region

Gives effect to certain provisions of the Convention on the Safety of United Nations and Associated Personnel adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on 9 December 1994. Treats attacks on UN workers outside the United Kingdom as punishable offences under certain sections of the criminal code of the United Kingdom. This includes the offences of murder, manslaughter, culpable homicide, rape, assault causing injury, kidnapping, abduction and false imprisonment.
