Abstract/Citation: Amends the Immigration Act 1987. Adds a new s. 34A to provide for limited purpose visas, and substitutes Part II which regards the removal of persons unlawfully residing in New Zealand. Inserts a new Part IVa which provides for special procedures in cases involving immigrants who pose a national security threat, and also adds new Part VIa regarding determination of refugee status.
