| Abstract/Citation: | Provides for financial assistance for indigent persons. Stipulates that husbands shall have the duty to maintain a child of their spouse until the child reaches 16 years of age, and provides for maintenance orders to be paid to deserted spouses (both male and female), and to children born out of wedlock. Establishes a Social Development Assistance Board to administer social assistance programmes. |
