Abstract/Citation: Establishes the terms and conditions (length, notice, determination of dates) of annual holidays with pay. Defines "average pay" for the purposes of determining the amount of holiday pay. Provides that where employment has terminated prior to an employee's annual paid holiday, the employer must grant the employee his or her holiday pay. Obligates employers to keep records of renumeration periods of employment and holiday for all employees. Specifies punishable offences against the Act.
