Abstract/Citation: Prohibits discrimination on the basis of religion or political opinion in employment, education, provision of goods, facilities and services, and in relation to barristers, employment agencies, and advertisement. Protection of political opinion shall not extend to political views which advocate violence. Provides for additional duties of the Equality Commission (established by the Northern Ireland Act 1998), and establishes a Fair Employment Tribunal to adjudicate regarding matters related to the Order.
