Abstract/Citation: Establishes the Office of the Chief Electrical Inspector which shall, inter alia, control the safety standards of electrical work carried out by electrical workers by setting minimum safety standards, inspecting equipment and installations, and investigating accidents. Requires the registration of electrical contractors and maintenance of electrical lines. Part 9 establishes a Victorian Electrolysis Committee which shall provide for cathodic protection and mitigation of stray current corrosion.
