Abstract/Citation: | Governs, in ss. 575 to 586, contracts to render services by an employee to an employer, with an implied promise to pay remuneration. Either party may transfer his right to a third person, with the consent of the other party. Unless otherwise fixed, remuneration is payable at the end of predetermined period or after the services have been rendered. Ss. 579 and 581 to 582 govern termination of a contract. The conditions in wich an employee may be dismissed without notice or compensation are set forth in s. 583. Finally, s. 586 addresses payment of the costs of a return journey for an employee brought from elsewhere at the employer's expense. |
