Abstract/Citation: Contains amendments to numerous acts covering, inter alia, ss. 3(3) (right to compensation for refugee), 3(22) (supplementary retirement benefit) and 9(1-17) (compensation for care of sick child or close relative) of the National Insurance Act. Amends several sections covering, inter alia, ss. 3(21) (retirement benefit for disabled young person) and 15(8) (conditions to obtain transitional compensation) and repeals previous amendments of ss. 9(5), 9(9), 9(11), 9(13) and 9(14) of the Act (No. 20 of 1997) to amend the National Insurance Act. Amends: s. 55 (parallel applicability of the National Insurance Act to injuries under three earlier Acts) of the Industrial Accident and Occupational Diseases Insurance Act; s. 33A(5) (parental leave in case of serious illness) of the Act respecting workers' protection and the working environment, etc; s. 10(4) (cash sickness benefit) of the Annual Leave Act; and s. 2(1c) (retirement benefit amount) of the Act respecting State subsidies for supplementary pension schemes.
