Sets forth a programme for the development of automation technology in Vietnam. Main steps in this programme include the absorbtion and application of foreign advanced automation already operating in the country, investment in research and development of automation technology, and the development of human resources trained in the use of automation technology. The resolution aims to develop automation technology so that Vietnam reaches the standard of developed countries in the region by the year 2010.
