Abstract/Citation: Requires employers, in situations involving work with asbestos, to notify employees that they will be working with asbestos and to identify the type of asbestos. The employer shall endeavor to prevent the exposure of employees to asbestos; if this is not possible, exposure shall be reduced through protective equipment and other measures. Employers shall provide air monitoring and medical surveillance. Also provides for storage, handling, and disposal of asbestos.
