Inter alia, adds a new part to the Works Constitution Act (22/1974) concerning a European works constitution and a works council to be implemented in enterprises which are based in Austria and have at least 1000 employees in member states of the European Union. Membership in constitutional committees and works councils shall reflect the nationalities of the workforce.
