Abstract/Citation: Provides for Poland's political integration into Europe and its economic rapprochement with the European Union. In particular, envisages the establishment, over a period of ten years, of a free trade area, within which there shall be a free movement of goods, persons and companies, and services. Special provisions govern the movement of capital, competition, approximation of laws, investment promotion and protection, and a number of other issues. Chapter I of Title IV deals with the movement of workers. The treatment accorded to workers of Polish nationality legally employed in the territory of a member State shall be free from any discrimination and the legally resident spouse and children of such a worker shall have access to the labour market. Contains special provisions relating to the coordination of social security systems. Available in English.
