Abstract/Citation: Gives effect to Council Directive No. 94/33/EC of 22 June 1994. Generally prohibits the employment of children under 16 years of age. Children 14 or older may be employed under certain conditions, provided that, inter alia, such employees are provided minimum rest, employers obtain permission from the parents, and employers maintain obligatory records.
