Abstract/Citation: Amends s. 14, subsections 1 and 4, s. 17 and 21 and s. 22, subsection 22. The amendments include exemptions for the petroleum industry from the applicability of certain sections of the Act respecting workers' protection and the working environment, inter alia, with respect to hours of work. Trade unions may enter agreements concerning hours of work beyond the limits of s. 41 subsection 5 of the Act respecting worker's environment etc.. Further, instead of rules otherwise applicable, the total (daily) working time, including overtime, must not exceed 16 hours, and the total annual overtime must not exceed 200 hours. At working places bound by wage agreements, special agreements with individual workers are permitted to extend the possible amount of annual overtime to 300 hours.
