Abstract/Citation: Provides comprehensive regulations concerning health, sanitation and safety in factories. Part III contains health regulations, including provisions relating to the powers of health inspectors. Part IV provides safety regulations, relating to, inter alia, procedures in case of fire, pressure valves, and dangerous machinery. Part IV relates to notification and investigation of accidents and industrial diseases. Part VII prohibits the employment of women and children in factories other than in accordance with orders which may be made by the governor in Council (s. 42).
