Abstract/Citation: Requires employers of seafarers employed on board Hong Kong ships to ensure the health and safety aboard ship. In particular, makes provision for the maintenance of plant, machinery, and equipment, and requires employers to prepare a written safety policy and to bring it to the notice of employees if more than 5 persons are employed on ship. Also requires employees to take reasonable care of their safety and that of their co-workers.
