Abstract/Citation: Amends and largely restates the law in relation to trade unions and industrial relations. The Order is divided into 11 Parts and 4 Schedules. Part II regulates trade union administration, Part III trade union elections, and Part IV trade union membership. Part V regulates unions' political activities, Part VI union amalgamations and similar matters, and Part VIII assistance for certain legal proceedings. Part IX establishes rules for industrial action; Parts X and XI provide miscellaneous amendments, affecting, inter alia, servants of the Crown. The Schedules list legislation affected by the Order.
