Abstract/Citation: Replaces Merchant Shipping (Medical Stores) Regulations 1986 and the Merchant Shipping (Medical Stores)(Fishing Vessels) Regulations 1988. Implements Council Directive 92/29/EEC of 31 March 1992 (O.J. No. L113, 30.04.92 p.19) on the minimum safety and health requirements for improved medical treatment on board vessels, so far as that Directive relates to the carriage of medicines and other medical stores.
