| Abstract/Citation: | Gives effect to Council Directive 92/104/EEC ("the Extractive Industries (Mines and Quarries) Directive") with respect to safety instructions, escape and rescue facilities, health surveillance, and benches and haul roads. Also gives effect to Council Directive 92/91/EEC ("the Extractive Industries (Boreholes) Directive") relating to, inter alia, organisation of the workplace, danger areas, and pregnant women and nursing mothers. |
