Abstract/Citation: Regulates carriage of solid cargo by sea, in reflection of Chapter VI of the International Convention on the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974. Section 3 requires the provision of certain information concerning cargo to the master or owner of the ship. Section 4 requires the provision of oxygen analysis and gas detection equipment. Section 5 provides for safe use of pesticides on ships.
