Abstract/Citation: Establishes a National Training Council; the functions of the Council include advising the Minister on all aspects of vocational and other training and education in relation to needs of industries, commerce and services to promote economic development and serve as the coordinating agency for vocational and other training in the Republic, providing, arranging, approving and advising on the training of persons through apprenticeship, assisting such persons who have completed training to find employment and establishing standards and conducting testing of trainees. Also provisions on matters such as selection, contracts of apprenticeship, finance and records.
