Abstract/Citation: |
Establishes the Social Security Adminstration as an independent agency that is no longer included within the Department of Health and Human Services. Provides that disability benefits will no longer be paid directly to a drug addict or an alcoholic. Instead such benefits will be paid to a representative of the payee and the Administration will conduct disability reviews of individuals receiving supplemental security income disability benefits. |
