Abstract/Citation
Regulation promulgated by the High Council for Occupational Safety and approved by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs providing technical and security measures to prevent accidents and ensure the use of protective equipment by workers in the construction industry.
The purpose of drafting this regulation is to eliminate accidents resulting in damage to property in construction operations and to ensure the safety and protection of workers employed in construction.
This regulation includes 9 chapters and 324 articles. The first chapter contains the definitions used in the text of the regulation. The next chapters are respectively: General provisions; Machinery and equipment; Scaffolding and ladders; Demolition; Digging and drilling; Construction and installation of metal and concrete skeletons; Aggregate materials; and Miscellaneous provisions.
