Second Region

Members of the Fund are farmers and their spouses (including common-law marriages) and agricultural workers over 16 years old who are not members of other funds. Contains provisions on administration, investment of assets, amount of the contributions and calculations of benefits. Each member who has paid his contributions for 12 months or longer has the right to retirement benefits at the age of 67 but can defer the retirement until the age of 70. Art. 10 contains provisions on disability benefits for disabilities estimated at 40 percent or more. Art. 11 and 12 contain provisions on survivor's benefits. Repeals Act No. 101 of 1970 on the Pension Fund for Farmers.
