Provides that all housewives can apply for at least 7-10 days of vacation which is organised by the Federation of Women's Societies in Iceland. Each community shall pay a certain annual amount to cover the expenses, but if necessary, the vacationer is obliged to pay up to 15 percent of the cost. Women who have two or more children under the age of seven years shall have priority over others. The organising committee can use up to 20 percent of the community's contribution on care for the vacationer's children.
