Abstract/Citation: Provides for the competency of the Russian Federation in the field of medical training (sect. 5) and of the local authorities in the field of rehabilitation of the disabled, job placement (sect. 8). Includes provisions relating to private medicine. Provides for a free socio-medical assistance within Public Health system, a complementary assistance within facultative health insurance, the right to 3 days of unpaid annual leave without medical certificate (sect. 20). For several professions are provided for obligatory medical examinations, a declaration of definitive or temporary loss of working capacity, the employer's responsibility. Also provides for paid leave for pregnant women (in the event of their child's illness), for mothers of minors less than 15. Contains provisions relating with social protection of doctors and chemists and with the performance of their profession.
