In accordance with an Accord on Retirement Income Policies entered into on the 25th day of August 1993 by the Alliance, Labour, and National Parliamentary Parties, provides for adjustments to the level of New Zealand superannuation as well as for transitional provisions relating to the raising of the age of eligibility for New Zealand superannuation.
