Abstract/Citation: Replaces with additional provisions the Labour Relations (Continuity of Employment) Regulations 1976. The additional provisions in these Regulations provide for the preservation of continuity of employment for the purposes of employment protection rights contained in the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978 and the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 where a dismissed person is reinstated or re-engaged in consequence of the making of a compromise contract, the presentation of a complaint or action taken by a conciliation officer.
