The purpose of the Guidelines is to promote the prevention of industrial accidents caused by chemical substances as well as to deepen the understanding of employers, workers and others concerned by stipulating the content of labelling regarding the dangerous and toxic nature of chemical substances. Those transferring or providing such substances must provide a safety datasheet and appropriate labelling.
