Abstract/Citation: Chapter I sets forth basic provisions (respect of human and citizen rights, free and voluntary establishment of political parties, precedence of ratified and promulgated treaties on human rights and fundamental freedoms over the law). Chapter II deals with the legislative power. Chapter III relates to the executive power. Chapter IV concerns the judicial power (Constitutional Court). Chapter V concerns the Supreme Control Office. Chapter VI establishes the Czech National Bank. Chapter VII provides for territorial self-administration. Chapter VIII sets forth transitional and final provisions.
